The timetable, fully automatic
Timetable preparation — weeks of work at the start of every term, running through spreadsheets and email threads — is one of the processes where universities lose the most time. D-plan makes it fully automatic within the rules the institution defines. Room, lecturer and course data are pulled once from institutional systems through integration; the planner enters no data and only reviews and publishes the result.

What it does
Fully automatic planning
The entire term or annual timetable is generated by the system within the defined constraints; per department or for the whole university in one run.
Integrated data, zero manual entry
Rooms, lecturers, courses and student groups come automatically from the student information system. Nothing is re-uploaded each term.
Rule-based constraints
Room capacity and equipment, lecturer availability, building/campus distance and the institution's own rules are part of the plan.
Clash-free result
Lecturer, room and student-group clashes are prevented while the plan is generated; no corrections afterwards.
Room availability and floor-plan view
Which room is busy on which day and hour, and which is free — as a list and on the building floor plan.
Publish to any system
The generated timetable is sent in one step, via open integration, to the student portal, lecturer portal, SIS and calendar apps.

A month of planning, down to three days
At the university using D-plan, term planning that previously took about a month dropped first to a week and then to three days. The timetable is live today in student and lecturer portals; lecturer availability and room data are pulled from the system automatically every term.
- Planning time went from one month to three days
- Data is pulled once via integration, never re-entered each term
- Clashes are prevented during generation; nothing to fix afterwards
- Output is delivered to any system, including student and lecturer portals
